ガザ地区への即時攻撃中止と話し合いによる解決を求める

　全労連はイスラエル軍によるガザ地域へのパレスチナ住民への攻撃に対し強く抗議する。長年にわたり基本的人権を抑圧され、また国連によって主権国家を樹立する権利を認められたパレスチナ自治区の、無実の人々に対する今回のかつてない規模の攻撃は、何を持っても正当化できない。
　全労連は特に、子どもを含む3000人以上の人々が死傷していること、またイスラエルとパレスチナ双方による公正で恒久的和平を目指す交渉が今回の攻撃で停滞することに深い憂慮を表明する。全労連は、イスラエルがただちに攻撃を中止し、国連をはじめ国際機関が即時停戦と恒久和平交渉の再開のために役割を発揮することを求める。
　全労連はこれらの目的達成のために、引き続き全力を挙げる。

ZENROREN demands immediate halt of the attack against GAZA and settle the issue through diplomatic negotiation

Zenroren condemns the brutal killing carried out by the armed forces of Israel against the Palestinian people in Gaza. No one can justify these unprecedentedly large-scale attacks against the people, who has been denied its most basic human rights in the autonomous areas, as well as their rights recognized by the United Nations to build a sovereign state.

Zenroren expresses deep concern over the facts that more than 3000 people including children were killed or injured, and that the continued attack brings a major setback to efforts for seeking a just and permanent peace settlement through negotiations with Israel and the Palestinian Authority,

We urge the government of Israel to cease the firing and withdraw the troops from the territory immediately, and the United Nations and other international bodies to exercise the full authority to bring about immediate ceasefire and to open the way for renewed peace process.

For realizing the above objectives, we remain committed to doing all we can.
